TERM 2 Inquiry Question:
How do we shape our identity? To what extent can/do we control who we become?
Assignments:
-Totem Pole (based on our novel Touching Spirit Bear, you are to choose animals that best represent you, your character, your actions (the way you move, observe the world around you)). It is very important that you are choosing animals that you feel connected to; those that you enjoy learning or watching.
-Black History Month (the project is posted on TEAMS): Choose an icon (from the list given) that has made significant steps for change in the way in which African American/Canadian people are treated, as well as changes in their rights and freedoms. This is a poster project and must include a photo of your icon, and the appropriate information requested.
