TERM 1 Inquiry Question: What are the things that make me who I am?

-Novel study of "Touching Spirit Bear"

Grade 7 homework:

*Bring in an object that you value/that is very important to you. Be prepared to present it to the class :) (13 and 14) (14--Wednesday, October 8th)+ (Thursday, October 9th (13)) 

*Creative writing assignment: Describe using your 5 senses and as many adjectives as you can to describe your ideal/favorite meal?

(Group 14)

Due Friday, October 3rd

(Group 13) Same creative assignment due

*Autobiography: Name/nickname, Date of birth, favorite(s)--color, tv shows, foods, etc...and anything else that you would like to share (75-100 words) 

Due in October 9th (day 8 for group 13 and14)

Identity Map (Final Copy) is due Tuesday, October 14th for both groups 13 and 14  (day 1) 

For your identity map, you were all given a copy . In the centre of the, please include your name (first or last last, and date of birth, along with relationships you have with others, for example--sister/brother, niece/nephew, cousin, friend, farmer, babysitter...)

Each cloud has a unique theme: values with which you are raised to be and believe in, nationality and languages spoken, places you have visited or would like to visit, what you'd like to be later on in life, and what is a lesson that you have learned? 

If there is anything else that you'd like to share, please feel free to do so, if there is something you are not comfortable sharing, please let me know, and we can adjust accordingly.
